This course will offer suggestions for humanely raising a small flock of chickens in an urban or rural area. Discussion will include instruction on brooding and feeding chicks from hatching to maturity. Breed selection, disease control and egg cleaning and storage will also be discussed. This course is open to the public. OLLI membership is not required.
