This course is a 9.5 quarter unit option for participants in the Area 3 Writing Project's Invitational Leadership Summer Institute. This intensive program is designed to improve participants' writing ability, their teaching of writing and their skills for professional development work with other teachers. The course also focuses on educational leadership and prepares participants to become A3WP Teacher Consultants for in-service, assessment and curriculum development programs, as well as other leadership roles for the project, schools and districts. Students may repeat this course for credit to update their skills, strategies and knowledge.
