A partnership between UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education and the University of the Pacific allows students to apply units from our Professional Coaching for Life and Work Certificate Program or our Human Resource Management Certificate Program toward a Master of Arts in Leadership concentration in Organizational Innovation & Change at the University of the Pacific.

Program Details
Completion of the UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education Professional Coaching for Life and Work Certificate Program or the Human Resource Management Certificate Program provides for the transfer of nine semester units (13.5 quarter units) toward completion of University of the Pacific’s Master of Arts in Leadership concentration in Organizational Innovation & Change. The following stipulations apply:
- Graduates of the UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education Professional Coaching for Life and Work Certificate Program or the Human Resource Management Certificate Program must be admitted to the University of the Pacific by going through the regular admissions process.
- Applicants must have earned a bachelor's degree to qualify for admission.
- The UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education program must be completed prior to being admitted to the MA in Organizational Innovation & Change.
- A grade of “B” or better must be earned in the UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education program to be eligible for transfer into the University of the Pacific’s MA in Organizational Innovation & Change.
- Applicants to the MAOLE will confirm their completion of the UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education Professional Coaching for Life and Work Certificate Program or the Human Resource Management Certificate Program and grades by requesting an official UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education transcript be sent to University of the Pacific.
- The following UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education certificate coursework is eligible to transfer to the MA in Organizational Innovation & Change (the academic unit transfer is based on the conversion rate of 3 quarter units equaling 2 semester units of academic coursework):
- Professional Coaching for Life and Work Certificate Program (15 quarter units): Total transfer of 13.5 quarter units (9 semester units)
- Human Resource Management Certificate: Total transfer of units dependent on program coursework – contact program staff for more information.
- Completion of the UC Davis certificate allows students to transfer up to nine units of semester credit when granted admission into the University of the Pacific MA in Organizational Innovation & Change in the following manner:
- EDUC 239, Coaching for Organizational Contexts, 3 semester units
- EDUC 295 M, Instructional Design and Development, 3 semester units
- EDUC 238, Organizational Change and Consulting, 3 semester units
