Mindfulness Retreat: Settling In
Enjoy a three-day getaway to focus on mindfulness discussion and practice at the Chagdud Gonpa Rigdzin Ling. This Buddhist retreat center with over 200 acres of land is nestled in the Trinity Alps of Northern California and provides a peaceful and beautiful setting for the theme of “Settling In.” Discussion and exercises will focus on ‘settling in’ to the body and senses, as well as self-compassion through walking meditation, discussion and some creative activities. All activities will be offered via the leadership of OLLI instructor Sue Banducci. Transportation by passenger vans and most meals will be included in this one-of-a-kind group activity.
Note: Our group will be housed in a two-story private lodge with dormitory-style bedding. Please email inquiries regarding sleeping arrangements to olli@ucdavis.edu if necessary before enrolling.

All fees are nonrefundable and may be transferred no later than April 2 to another ADULT participant if you are unable to attend. No participants under age 18 allowed.
Please note: our group will be housed in a two story private lodge (no elevators) with dormitory-style bedding. Room assisgnments will be made by OLLI. Please email inquiries regarding sleeping arrangements to olli@ucdavis.edu if necessary before enrolling in this non-refundable excursion.
OLLI Spring or Annual Membership is required to participate in this excursion.
Please note that OLLI staff are unable to provide personal care assistance on the field trips. If you require assistance with walking, climbing steps or stairs, boarding the van or personal care, please plan to enroll a personal caregiver who can attend to those needs throughout the trip.
Parking and van pick-up location will be emailed one week in advance of trip.
Enrollment Policies
COURSE FEES FOR THIS FIELD TRIP ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AFTER YOU HAVE ENROLLED.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your purchase to another ADULT (age 18 or older) no later than April 2. After April 2 no transfers are allowed and all fees are forfeit to OLLI. Contact olli@ucdavis.edu in the event you need to transfer your purchase to another attendee.
