OLLI Road Trip - August 4

Regional Treasures: Ruth Bancroft Gardens & Blackhawk Museum

Discover an iconic botanical garden, including a curator’s discussion followed by the rich tapestry of cultures, history and art at the Blackhawk Museum in the East Bay.

The Ruth Bancroft Garden features an outstanding collection of dry-growing plants from around the globe, beautifully arranged with California native trees and shrubs. We’ll spend the cooler morning touring the garden, followed by a lecture on its history and plant collection by the Garden Director.
